The Learning Module aims to provide insights on metering plans and sensor deployment plans for various building systems as presented in literature. Data reliability and relevance are of highest importance for performance monitoring of any building. In today‘s modern buildings majority of data for proper functioning of various technical building systems is coming from different sensors, remote metering and automatic recording. To assure that neither too many nor too few measurements are taken or sensors are deployed, a metering and sensor deployment plan have to be prepared taking into account the purpose of measurement and foreseeable performance improvement measures.
