The module aims to provide a general overview of the current and forthcoming national and EU building energy legislation. Particular attention has been posed on emphasising the main elements of EU legislation, namely the Energy efficiency directive. Furthermore, general aspects of national legislation have been highlighted, and the EU 2020 and 2030 energy efficiency targets have been described.
