The Learning Module aims to provide insights on knowledge about energy performance contracting and the characteristics of energy efficiency measures in the building sector as presented in literature. Energy performance contracting (EPC) is based on guaranteed cost savings from reduced energy or water consumption. It is a budget-neutral approach because achieved cost savings are used to repay the cost of implemented energy efficiency measures.
