The Learning Module aims to provide insights on urban energy modelling approaches as presented in literature. The energy models at urban level are aimed at supporting effective urban energy planning, mainly oriented to the development and assessment of urban energy systems. The urban energy systems include city-scale building oriented studies and urban scale energy models. The most widespread approaches for urban energy modelling are addressed to building stocks, like the urban building energy models (UBEMs).
